Happy Monday!  We had a nice morning that included exercises and finish the holiday lines and song lyrics.  We enjoyed some fun trivia that went along with Christmas songs and sang carols like "Deck the Halls," "The Christmas Song," and "Silver Bells."  It was a fun afternoon with social hour...chatting and reminiscing about traveling.  We also had a great time playing bingo!  Almost everyone won so there was a lot of celebrating!

It was a great couple of days!  Our Thursday morning was spent exercising our bodies, enjoying some fun trivia all about Christmas, reminiscing and singing a few Christmas carols.  We enjoyed the afternoon visiting with each other and having tasty brownies and coffee.  Then we had a good time watching a video that Maddie and Claire from Music Safari made for us.  They talked about Christmas movie trivia from movies including "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer," "Frosty the Snowman," and "The Grinch" and sang several songs that were in the movies.  It was great!  On Friday morning, we enjoyed a small group virtual sing along with Claire.  She led everyone in singing a variety of songs like "Home on the Range" and "Jesus Loves Me."  It was a fantastic afternoon at social hour and playing some games of bingo!  

It was a great couple of days here in the Willows!  Our mornings were busy exercising our bodies, enjoying finish the Christmas carol song and singing, holiday trivia and hearing "Twas the Night..." poem.  It was a fun Monday afternoon had by all chatting with one another at social hour and then playing bingo.  We also had a great Tuesday afternoon having coffee and cookies, visiting with one another and working on a Christmas theme word find.  We topped off the afternoon with a virtual Christmas recital of kids of different ages.  They were all students of Jennifer and Maddie from Music Safari.  It was very cute and everyone loved watching them play!  They especially got a kick out of seeing a little boy's cat just sitting on his keyboard before he starting playing! 

Happy Friday!  It was a wonderful morning with a virtual Christmas carol sing along with Claire.  Several residents enjoyed singing all the favorite Christmas songs with her including, "Let it Snow," "Silent Night," and "Joy to the World."  We also had a busy and fun afternoon visiting and enjoying chocolate and pumpkin spice cupcakes and coffee.  After we were done eating, we had a great time playing games of bingo!  It was a great day!
