Happy Monday! This morning was devotions with Chaplain Mari. Everyone had a lovely time listening to her message and singing “Wonderful Words of Life” and “Because He Lives.” Next, was The Daily Chronicle. We learned that in 1639 today, The New College was renamed Harvard College, among other things. For exercise, we used the ribbons and went along with 50s music. It was fun twirling those ribbons to that upbeat music! Some of the ladies were having such a good time that they kept moving even when the rest of us were taking a rest break! There were some great Elvis videos from the 50s that they enjoyed watching and singing along to. Lastly, we watched YouTube videos of the cutest puppies and hilarious videos of kids. We just had to watch something that would give us a good laugh on this Monday morning! Several residents played word games after lunch and some rest. Diane and Tolstoy came to visit! Everyone had a wonderful time feeding Tolstoy and watching him do his games, going through and jumping over the tunnel, and playing the piano! ~Jessica
