A happy Ides of March to you all! This morning we all gathered in the theatre for a special Ecumenical service with the Hosanna! Preschool children opening our service with some beautiful songs. The service was hosted by a guest Pastor from Hosanna! Church, Pastor 3333. Perspective was the theme of the sermon and he even started with a glass of water, filled half-way and asked the residents if they saw the glass as “half full or half empty”. We also had a special Catholic Mass today in the Chapel with Deacon 3333. The sacrament of Anointing of the Sick was held and all received a special blessing. Before lunch those of us not in the Chapel gathered for some ball tossing and stretch & flex class in the family room. After our lunch and a rest break we gathered again for a popcorn party. The smell of fresh popped popcorn was enough to draw people from their rooms before I even had a chance to invite them! It was a lovely time, complete with Crush orange soda pop and a song of “Take me out to the Ballgame!”. Next we all played a game or two of our favorite game, BINGO! We did have a little excitement at the end of the afternoon- as our new family room furniture arrived! It was like Christmas as the residents oohhed and awed- who would have guessed a new couch could be so much fun! Enjoy the photos! ~Melissa
