You can just feel the change in the weather. This has been one HOT summer for us here in Minnesota. We got a big kick out of walking in the garden this afternoon and a resident said, "Geeze, it's almost chilly today and I haven't said that in a while!". We did have perfect indoor weather for our big activity of the day, Music with Claire. It is always a treat and today the theme was The Beatles! My video transfer isn't working at the moment, so I will certainly post that in the morning and hopefully it will be working by then!

Wednesday, September 8th is STATE FAIR Day for the residents. The week of September 13th is Art Fair Week- so if your loved one has any medium of art (painting, needlework, ceramics, wood working, etc.) please bring it in (with their name on it) for us to display for the entire building to enjoy! Limit of 3 pieces per person. We have so many talented residents here! We will also be doing a "Back to School Guessing game" in Mid-September, so if you could bring a small framed photo (3x5 or 5x7) of your residents in GRADE school for us to guess WHOS WHO- All photos and art pieces are due by Sept 10th!
