TESTIMONIALS

We have been so blessed to have the staff at the Fountains serving us and my parents well. I can't thank you enough for all that you have done to make this happen for our family. I also want to call out your staff for providing awesome service to us.

I want to call out Beverly. She was the ONE that helped me to understand what I needed to know and plan for. Without her input I would never have understood the steps I needed to have to prep my parents for the future. She provided a wealth of information and walked me through my train of thought and emotions to moving Mom to memory care. She has my utmost appreciation.

Sherry and Suzanna: I also want to call out both for their GREAT service at the front desk. They are the First Impression Team. I know there are times when they are pulled in multiple directions but they are always helpful, kind and thoughtful no matter what is going on around them. I have seen them interact with residents, especially my dad and have been so good with him. I know that seniors as they age have lost so much, their health, the home and belongings they had for many years and their family members, and their lack of time with remaining family due to Covid. Their sensitivity to our elders reminds me to do the same.

Pastor Mary: She is amazing! She has such gentle spirit and is always available to anyone needing her care. She has been an important part of my dad's support system. So thankful for her!

Kristin: She and her nursing team are doing a great job to provide quality care to our residents. Now that Mom is in Memory Care I am having more interaction with them and appreciate their responses to my questions.

Activities: The Activities Director has been a huge part of helping the residents to have something to look forward to. She has been so kind and thoughtful to my Dad.

The RA's: Oh my, what an amazing team of staff you have. They are the ones that love on our residents most! They are the highlight of my dad's day! When we can't be there, it is so reassuring to know that your staff is giving them love and attention. I know RA's are on the low end of the pay scale, but are on the high end of my appreciation.

I know I have missed some in this email, but want to make sure you know how blessed we are to be at the Fountains. My plate is full right now with both parents, but I hope someday to be able to serve as a volunteer.

With gratitude,
Deb Brist"

My brothers and sisters and I are all very impressed and relieved at the care, communication and staffing levels there (at The Fountains). It is a night and day difference, and I tell everyone I know how wonderful The Fountains is! Everyone there is so caring, reliable and the communication is excellent. Also, one of my mom’s friends, Kathy who is a former nurse, has been very impressed and relieved with your facility and staff. Not only in comparison to where my mom was, but Kathy has a sister with Alzheimer’s who is in memory care in Wisconsin, so she has that to compare to as well.

Just a note…. It sounds like my sisters-in-law are considering moving their mom there as well, which is awesome – mostly for her sake to get better care, of course – but also because she and my mom are close, so my mom would like that too.

Fountains Staff
"Words cannot begin to convey our thanks to you for the wonderful care you gave Mom, and tremendous support, help and friendship you poured out on Mary and I and our families during her final days and after her passing. The bedside service after her death, plus the dignity and honor shown to her immediately after death has touched us deeply. Mom truly did love her time at The Fountains, and she told me many times how much she loved her apartment, and all the people that "helped her" in her 2+ years as a Minnesotan."

From a current resident that transitioned to assisted living during a surgery procedure:
"The service provided to me by all leaders and resident assistants during my assisted living period was "above and beyond", and very much appreciated!  Many thanks to all!

Stay by the Day experience:
"Our family first heard about the Stay by the Day Program through a friend at Hosanna church.  We went for a tour and we were very impressed by how personable the tour was, the nurse's knowledge of the environment.  Everyone was extremely welcoming, open, friendly and the general reception of the place seemed to fit perfectly.  My mother is now 99 and has gone for the past three years about three times.  She always has something positive to say when she returns from the program.  She has attended other programs but really enjoys the staff at The Fountains.  Says they are friendly and the food is delicious!  The salon was a great plus.  She enjoys attending the activities, especially the sing-a-longs and movies.  Our family is so thankful we have found a place where not only she is comfortable, but where our mother can go and we know she will be provided the care and attention she needs while we are away.  We would highly recommend this program to our friends and family without even thinking twice.  It is a wonderful facility with very caring people and staff.  As you enter the front door they are immediately warm, welcoming and remember who you are!

Resident letter:
The Move:
When one moves into a community like The Fountains, you at probably aware that it is going to be your final move and you are moving into a situation that is different from anything you have ever experienced.  You have left your old neighborhood, you have left your old friends of 30, 40 or 50 years.  You have probably left your family at your old church.  Unless you are moving in with your spouse, everyone is a stranger.  This is a very dramatic change and it can all happen in one or two days.  What keeps it from becoming a traumatic change however is the staff at The Fountains.  There is a culture of respect here.  There is a culture of genuinely caring for the individual.  This includes all the staff, all of the volunteers and all those who do business with The Fountains.  With that kind of support and with the support of the other residents, the transition is much easier than I had anticipated.  It became a transition that I could handle

Resident Letter:
Living at The Fountains is a lot like CHEERS where everyone knows your name and like an ocean cruise with good food and entertainment.  As for food, we have a great Chef that w meet with once a month, plenty of suggestions and almost never complaints.  Many favorites are considered.  It if still doesn't meet your special tastes, there is always an alternate menu.  What could be better.  Hosanna church is attached to The Fountains.  In cold weather, we don't need to even to outside.  Everyone is welcome.  Devotions are held in the chapel and all faiths are welcome.  Entertainment seems endless, Dakota symphony, piano players, singers, birthday parties, volunteers, they are all just great!  I would welcome a visit from anyone, come check this place out!

Tour:
Thank you for taking the time to make a positive experience for our mom.  We are so excited that she is now anxious to move.  You are awesome.  She will be a resident within a month!

Family:
Thank you for your patience and help during my moms transition in The Fountains community.  You are very special and we appreciate all you did for our family.

I felt at home as soon as I walked in the door.  My apartment is all I could wish for.  The residents are very friendly. The activities offered are varied, interesting and well run. The staff at every level are helpful and accommodating.  The food is delicious with a nice variety.  I find it to be a lovely place to live and I am very happy here!  Joan E.

I appreciate my residence in Fountains at Hosanna!  A great place to live- independently, yet all the help I would ever need is available right here!  Surrounded by friendly people, lots to do, many options for us!  Lorraine A.

While I was in the hospital, my family visited several assisted living facilities.  After my discharge from the hospital, I visited The Fountains for my approval.  I looked it over and knew I would be completely satisfied living here.  Excellent meals, many activities to enjoy- bingo, card and board games, fishing trips, educational classes, religious programs and movies.  There is something for everyone to enjoy.  Virgil B.

My husband needed the care they gave at Fountains at Hosanna.  He needed me to be with him.  He was in hospice care, but I didn’t need care.  We got a one bedroom unit and he got terrific care until he died in January, 2017.  I have stayed here to live.  D. J. S.

Great facility and caring staff.  I love the spiritual emphasis.  Anonymous

My mom has high needs and they do a great job providing personal care and ensuring she is a part of the community.  The spiritual focus and wonderful volunteers really add to the sense of community.  Anonymous

Beautiful facility, wonderful staff, great care!!  Tami H

To all of The Fountains at Hosanna staff:
There are no words to express our gratitude for the excellent care provided to Bob over the past three years.  Thank you for the grace that was always extended to me with my countless phone calls and inquiries.  To all of the staff that we do not see on a regular basis, please know we appreciate you!

To the staff and administration of The Fountains at Hosanna  THANK YOU for your excellent care and the compassion you expressed to our Mom/Grandma/Great Grandma, Marion.  You are the greatest!

Thank you again for everything, the team at Fountains is so very special and some of the kindest people I feel I've been blessed to meet, not to mention the residents and friends Mom was able to create. Personally I would have liked it if she would've stayed but even at 90 she has a mind of her own, another blessing I guess...
