In preparation for the Super Bowl, we made banners and picked who we are hoping win the game. We have a lot of Kansas City Chief fans here :) We also watched "The Blind Side" movie! What a privilege to have the Skylark Opera Theatre here at The Fountains today 10:15 Exercise and Current Events 10:45 Baking chocolate chip cookies! 11:30 Lunch 1:00 Bible Study 2:15 Music Safari 3:00 Table Games/Coffee/Chocolate Chip cookies 4:30 Dinner WHEW! Life on the Oregon Trail was difficult. We studied, asked a lot of questions, enjoyed discussion and learned more about that trek. We ended the afternoon with a documentary on the Oregon Trail. It was very interesting and enjoyed by many! We all need a taste of spring this winter - so we gathered together and created beautiful floral arrangements with bright, happy colors! The ladies brought their expertise to the table! They baked 2 delicious loaves of banana bread and everyone enjoyed it :) Today was a good day to have a good day here at The Willows! We made a fruit pizza, spent time painting and puzzling and enjoyed music with Claire. |
