The Boy in the Laundry Basket
A little boy fell asleep, curled up in a laundry basket. His name is Jonathon. He is taking a break from his family asking him to do this, that and the other things. Jonathon has a mama and a papa, a grandma as well as a brother and a sister. His family is upstairs and Jonathon is in the basement. His family is going about their normal, everyday things and Jonathon escaped! Jonathon is hiding out so he doesn’t have to do any work. Who would think to look in a laundry basket? The washing machine is running…rub a dub dub, 3 men in a tub. The sounds are making him sleepy and the room smells like laundry soap. Before Jonathon escaped to the basement, he was eating a hot dog. After he ate, he got so sleepy and that’s when he decided to sneak downstairs. After his nap, he work up and saw there were no cloths and he wonders what is happening. But then he sees there ARE cloths in the basket and thinks maybe he will give them to the goodwill. Soon, his family will come get him because it’s time for the next meal. And guess what?
